I have a ‘16 veloster turbo that’s stock except for a k&n typhoon intake. I was looking at blow off valves and I just want an easy install that works and I don’t have to change tightness like turbo smart or hks and just minimal maintenance other than cleaning. Are there any that fit this description?

TiAL BOV, Turbosmart, TurboXS.

The TiAL will need an adapter but otherwise no brainer.

stock one seems marginally OK. ive gone through one myself (probably should replace it again LOL) but think of the multitude of folks that buy these cars (and others that share the same BOV).

to get the sound, just cap off the bov hose inlet ON THE INTAKE... and leave the hose open.

I'm running the Go Fast Bits valve which is direct bolt on and really nice to have the adjustment for the sound. Can totally route air back into intake like stock, completely vent, or anything in between. Been really happy with it.

What RPW00Mirage said.....

OEM is fine and works good and sounds better when VTA. Just be sure maintenance is good on the valve and it should last a while. If it does fail buy a new valve cheap.

to bad you have to take the bumper off just to get to it. Its easier to put the car on ramps to take the bumper off.
