I was reading on here one day, about the wire, that plugs into the port, by the usb port.
It has 1 wire, that goes into 3.
Someone had their phone & could read the temperature and other settings on it.

Does anyone know where to find this thread ?

Thanks to all in advance.

I have the cable, and it's the same as pictured above.
My question is where to get the program on my phone to monitor the rpm's, temp., etc. ?

You will need an OBDII adapter and an app on your phone to read the data you are talking about. Once you have that stuff it would be possible to connect your phone to the headunit through the RCA cable and display gauges on the screen.

I don't even know where to start on answering this. I think I need to be drunk and then it will all come clear.

Type OBDII and then Torque App in the serachy thingy on page of top.

If you have an iPhone, make sure you download OBD Fusion and also get an OBD2 Dongle that uses Wifi connectivity (not Bluetooth)

Just get an OBD2 adapter on Amazon for around $20. and then download the Torque app from the Play Store. Then you can read all the engine parameters on your phone and read and reset a check engine light.
