I never heard about this at all. I know we have clutch lag on the MT, so by solving that is to disconnect the ECO plug right about the clutch pedal.

OOOOH. Logic improvement sounds promising.
Tell me this leans the mix out a TINY bit, gets rid of the soot, increases MPG, and gives us a smoother powerband...hey one can hope right?

Thats what im guessing. I just saw them on the hyundaitechinfo.com site and would love to have more info about it. Kind of interesting that they have a "system too Rich at high side" issue on the accent with the same motor yet have not addressed it with our variance... even the N/A are seeing the Soot problem...
this update was released in january 2013, i'm a tech at hyundai. those 3 codes are p0456 evap emissions small leak detected, p0461 fuel level sensor "a" circuit range/performance p2192 system too rich at higher load. this update isn't really related to anything its just changing the parameters at which these codes occur. these motors also have a problem with the purge solenoid freezing up in colder weather for the evap leak, the fuel sender unit code is what happens when you let moisture into the vehicle, the cluster will stop working and that is the only code that appears, this update is also for this so the code does not show when this occurs.

?yeah pretty much i've done about 8 of these updates and honestly it takes about 2 minutes.
