Hello, does anyone know how much is the estimate cost for the engine replace for a Veloster Turbo? the mechanic that i spoke to said the estimate costs would be 7k-8k & i dont have that kind of money, What should i do next? I just bought the car 5 days ago.

You can get out much less than that. Used engine in good shape and lower miles can be had for 2-3k area and labor should be no more than 1-1.5k area.

you said you bought this less than 5 days ago, i'm a bit concerned or you knew there was a problem with the engine and I shouldn't be concerned. what's the background story here... were you planning on working with the engine this early?
