Maybe it's just me, but it seems like the Fiesta ST offers more performance bang for your buck than our beloved VTs. Granted, the overall VT package is more valuable to me as of now, but if the Fiesta ST was available during the time I purchased my VT, I'd have had a much harder decision.

The biggest issue with the Fiesta is that it is a Ford. Not saying that because I have any hate for the brand, quite the opposite. If I were in the market for a truck again a Ford would be my only choice... But the fit and finish in the interior of all the 'budget' Fords suck. That is one of the best features of the Veloster (IMO), I spend 95% of my time with my car inside her (the other 5 just looking like some love sick fan-boy). And the quality of the interior (our interior) was what sealed the deal for me.

I was shocked to see that the base fiesta st is 15k. Awesome performance but yes, way too tiny. It just kinda sucks that teenagers are gonna be getting these and its faster than the VT.

Teenagers will be rocking the Base Fiesta not the ST. But, I would like to punch any parent in the throat if they go out and buy their kid a brand new car for their first ride. First rides are all about getting some old junker with scratched up paint and a smell that comes out of the heater that makes you think the old lady you bought it from hid her husbands body in there. One needs to learn to walk before they run.

yea speaking of dead bodies, i bought my first car at an estate sale that had a 1982 lincoln town car in the driveway. turned out the old lady died and her son was liquidating shit so i asked what about the car and he's like "i didn't think of it... make an offer." 15 mins and $1250 later i was cruising down in that boat lol. It was in a surprisingly good condition for a 20 yr old car at the time, but top speed was like 67mph lol.

Of course I wouldn't turn it down. But I also don't ever expect to own it. I won't be buying one. And they're Italian, not Spanish, though they do tend to name them after bullfighters. But I digress.

I sat in a fiesta before I bought my vt and it wasn't the size that bothered me. It was the feel of cheapness inside that really turned me off of that car. Granted it was a good price point but I wanted to feel like I spent my money well. And the fiesta made me feel like I cheated myself out of a nicer car. Glad I bought my vt over any Ford product.

Focus RS is as close to "a decent Ford" as has existed in about 20 years, in my opinion. I still don't like it. I'd take a Mondeo / Fusion over it, but I'd take a Camry or Sonata over any of the above.

Also Lambos are just overpriced Audis today anyway.
