I've had both and I like the HKS Style better. it has a very distinct whistle when you let off of it under full boost. Under lighter boost it sounds like the forge with more of a psssshhhhhh. Both will make people look, but the SSQV will make there head snap when they look.

So true on the head snap. I find myself playing with it way too much tho just to see the reaction of people. Exhibit A) I'm pulling into the gas station to fill my car up and there's this women her back is to me. I create enough boost to make the sound and lmao it was so funny. I'm just going to leave it at that. She turned her neck so fast it was so funny.

I had a Forge in my Genesis and I had no complaints. I plan on going Forge for my VT too. Its more direct fit and similar in design and function to the OEM unit. Not to mention, I absolutely HATE the sound of the HKS.

That being said, they are both quality pieces and you cant really go wrong with either. Personal preference really.
