Ok, well guess I'll start with the story of the arrival of Sonja and how she became mine (I'll make a pretty long story short)!

I started in November with a 2013 Elantra GLS 6 spd, 8 days of driving and *Boom* in the shop. It literally died on my during transition from 2-3rd gear and never cranked back up. All the rocker arms had backed out, cracked the head, and damaged both ccamshafts. Top half rebuild only, lasted two days and then bottom half rebuild, still didn't fix it and starting New Years got put on a list for a full engine on backorder spot 9 -.- So, I checked state lemon laws and filed a claim. 4 months later and lots of waiting I now have gotten a repurchase and put into a VT!! Not happy with the wait and first failure but I am happy the occurrence led me to somethin I'm likin a helluva lot more!

Also, several will ask but, yes I did get the Elantra back around Feb 1st and drove it with no problems for about 3k miles. There is still no known outcome of what caused the initial failure.

Lastly, I'm on my phone and not sure how to add a pic but I will add on tomorrow at work. (No I don't use tapatlk as I couldn't even figure out how to post with it and I'm pretty tech savvy)

Mods soon to come - Down pipe, collars, exhaust, intake, res delete, springs, and tires.. In no particular order.

Kyle, it'll def have a list compiled from you guys... my longest wait will be the FMIC as I want to wait and see diff options become available for the crash bar. I may break down and just buy it but that depends on how quickly the mods start piling on and the more need for it becomes more prominent. I can say this, it's gonna have over 4-500$ dropped on it Friday and possibly more if I decide exhaust right off the bat.

Btw, anyone else totally dislike the auto defogging system?!? Bout drove me batty trying to figure out how to get it off... had to resort to the owners manual. Long time since electronic anything has sent me to the book lol!

On another note, I am pretty sure after my measurements last night that my Super Turbo 12's Probox will fit in the back!!!!! :Winning: So, now to decide on an amp to push the Alpine Type R 's....!

Downpipe has a tracking number and will be here Thursday, that's if UPS will be on time.. which I'm "sure" they will! :wink: Also, waitin on Vac blocks from TS! :smile: ...and so the modding begins! Res delete and collars are going to be this next check I believe, then it's the wonderful time of the month we call bill time -.-

On another note, hit 1000 miles this weekend and avg'd 33 mpg on my trip to Dallas and back! Not too shabby for "showing" a v6 honda coupe that our VT's are fast, like faster than them fast. (Hope I aint stretching the rules too far with this line.. if so, edit and remove)

Why thank ya brother! I indeed really like the color too! Although, I won't be "hook em horns" I will perhaps have a LSU sticker on there! Geaux Tigers!! :smile:

Also, uploading pics is simple, just depends on if you're on the desktop or phone. I can't get tapatalk to even let me post on a thread so pics are out, so I just use the phone and go via the website and do it.

Thanks bane! I was leery of the color at first, but I do like different/unique colors and it has definitely grown on me tremendously. I absolutely love it, wouldn't trade it for any other color but Yellow!
