So I picked up my VT Vitamin C on Tuesday and I am absolutely loving this car right now! Everything from Bumper to Bumper just gets me excited and happy to drive. I look back at least 5 times after locking it because it just looks so good on my driveway. I even go up to the window every now and then to make sure she's okay LOL. The drive is so quiet and the engine performance is absolutely amazing! Comparing to my 08' Jeep Liberty with the Sky Roof, I could not hear conversations with my girlfriend, but now I DO! Even at 130km/h, I can still here her and the radio at the same time. All outside wind and noise just gets cancelled out. Even the MPG on it! WAYYYY better than my Liberty. I got 15L/100km with my liberty and now I'm averaging about 8.0L/100km. That's cutting it nearly in half! Now I am at just below the half mark on the tank which I'm finding this tank runs a lot quicker. However, I drove a lot since Tuesday. about 300km to be exact. On a full tank I get 738km and with my Liberty I got 500km.

I am extremely happy about this purchase. Now my only question is, My mpg on highway is not as good as I was hoping it to be. I range between 6.5-8.0L/100km. Now is this something that will get better overtime or is 5.5L/100km too good to be true. And I use Active ECO on the Highway. If you have any ideas. Please let me know. :big smile:

Congrats, I love mine as well.

The MPG will get better, at least with my 370z it got better when I hit the 5000 mile mark.

I know your level of happiness, I have the same Vitamin C VT too (sunroof and all) except it's sunny and hot here in AZ. Been in love with my car since I bought it in September, I even say "Hi" to my Veloster when I see it. Makes my wife giggle every time.

My only complaint is the terrible MPG, but at least Hyundai is reimbursing me for my lost miles. I highly recommend calling the dealership where you purchased your VT from and find out if the VIN# qualifies for the reimbursement: https://hyundaimpginfo.com/.

On my first tank it looked like I'd get over 6-700kms .. it actually showed the low fuel light at 480kms and took 45L to fill it.
I'm not sure where you're getting your figures from, but your post is full of contradictions. You say you've driven 300km but on a full tank you're getting 738km. I would run a few tank fulls thru this first, and then do a real time analysis of your fuel consumption. I think you'll find the figures give out by the car are out to lunch.
