I just got my Vitamin C back from the interior shop. I had them dye the gray bolsters and piping and all of the contrasting stitching including the "Turbo" on the front seats and the "Veloster" on the floor mats orange to match the car. I love how it looks. So much better than the gray. :excitement:

Thanks. I had it done at Austin Auto Interiors in Round Rock for $600.00. They had the car for 3 days and said it was very tedious work dyeing all of the stitching. They are close to Round Rock Hyundai. They did some seat inserts on my last car. I definitely recommend them.

I was actually thinking of adding just a little dark blue somewhere on the inside and out as an accent color.

sweet, i have ultra black and grey accents , i'd love to dye them yellow for the contrast. if i ever find a shop that does that here in montreal.

I was thinking about that. Unfortunately their blue isn't as dark as I wanted. I was also considering painting the lower gray cladding dark blue. I've seen it done with lighter colors.

Thanks. In person it looks even better. The orange is a little darker than it shows up in the pictures.

Well, I've seen the stitching done with fabric dye pens you can buy at Hobby Lobby or other craft stores. That is the most tedious, time consuming part so if you did that yourself the price would obviously be alot lower. If you search "dye stitching" it will bring up the Camaro forum where alot of guys used the pens on their stitching. Seemed to work pretty well. I also saw it on the 370Z fourm. Dying the leather is a whole other deal.
