Has anyone found a good STOCK vacuum source on the IM or anywhere else?

I am trying to do something with the blow off valve setup on the car and was trying to find a good vacuum source without using one of the MAP sensor spacers.

I unplugged the vac. line that connects to the boost solenoid and tried hooking it up directly to my BOV.. NO dice... BOV was constantly open...

Right now my setup utilizes the stock boost solenoid with the two lines attached to my BOV.. the line that was connected to the stock BOV is connected to the top of the BOV and the bottom one is connected to the bottom port.

This works fine, I was just wanting a direct source for the BOV and for my HKS BOV adapter setup.

I know that if you swap the two lines from the solenoid that the BOV wont open like normal and now know if you bypass the solenoid completely that it doesn't function properly.

Granted I don't know how these things work, but can you combine both vaccuum lines with like, a T connector, and then connect that to the HKS?
Vacuum block spliced in before the check valve for the brake booster?
i'm not to sure either but i've been running a HKS since i got the car and just been using the solenoid for it no problems
