My button on the hatch release had quit working.
Ordered the switch with the camera and the ass'y that it plugs in to. The actual physical hatch locking mechanism and the motor housing ass'y that operates it, single unit. This is basic stuff here, plug and play.
Removed the old hatch button ass'y and the physical latching component. Replaced with the two items, plugged back together and now the hatch nor the doors work. Backup camera, etc, everything electrical, windows, radio etc etc works but the hatch and doors, no power (it seems). Possible blown fuse somehow? I haven't checked that yet as it's dark now though no idea how that could have happened.
