Hi is there any way to open the headlight case? to have an acces to the coponent to paint or mod some of them???
Of course anything is possible, one common technique is to heat up the headlight in the oven with very gentle heat to loosen the adhesive. But unless you got access to a giant commercial pizza oven, I don't know if the giant headlight module can fit in a typical home oven. Also, I gotta warn you that there are circuit boards inside the front headlight, so be very careful with what you are doing.

Last but not least, call the dealer and check the price of the headlight module before you attempt anything. Somebody scratched my lens cover and my insurance paid for a new headlight cover. It comes in a whole module and cost around $1300 CAD. :serious::serious::serious::serious::serious::serious: So, I would guess in the US it will cost at least $900 if not over $1000. Not something that I would want to be messing with.

That's expensive, considering you'd be able to purchase our completely modified lights for ~$1k, which includes shipping. But then again, we don't have the "mandatory" orange reflectors.
Well, I'm interested! Give me a good link to investigate the headlights and who can I get to answer any question I may have?

I've done it... I'm pretty handy, and tech savvy. I weld, solder, and tinker with all kinds of stuff. I've baked open tons of headlights, done many HID retrofit... and let me tell you...

This is one tough cookie. The VT headlight is extremely huge, so it's hard to fit in any oven. Whatever the hell glue they used is extremely sticky, and it wasn't easy to open with heat gun.

It took me WAY too long to take it apart, and even longer to put it back together. I also melted a portion of the headlight because it was too big for the oven I used. Also, I haven't been able to completel seal one side of the headlight, so it fogs up. I'm still searching for where it's not seal though. I've added a good bit of silicon sealant, but haven't been able to locate where it's not sealed.

Looks great once painted though. Definitely worth the trouble.

Really? We use a heat gun and don't usually have much trouble. SOMETIMES a second person is required to hold the back while the clear lens is pulled off, but usually it's a 1 man job.

Yes, putting it back together takes a bit more skill.

I looked at the video!
Sure would help to have some accompanying audio to explain what we're looking at.
Also a full front view with both headlights would be a great help.
How bright is the devil eye? Can't there be a switch to turn that feature off?
I like the orange but want to see a full front view in the dark with a comparison with the white.
What did you do with the VT fog light to get it to match? Can the same be done with the orange?
I left some of the same questions on You Tube and also your video page.
Just how difficult is it to do the job? I mean is it not just "plug and play"?

The link above is plug and play. The fog light on the page is not ours, as credited, is VeeTee's. That's just a fog light, not a 2 way system.

I replied to these questions on the product page, as I saw them first there, however you really don't need to post the same questions multiple places. I check them all everyday. 1 place is enough.

There can always be a switch added to manually turn off the devil eye, just takes more work on YOUR part, as there will be wires coming out of the headlight that you'll have to hook up yourself.

Dark view in comparison with the white...meaning a night shot to see the white output with 1 side orange?
(This was on the other headlight page. It's not on the VT page since it's technically a different product...Sorry). The video will show you flashing 1 side vs not.

This video is actually of a co worker's V. So he opted not to have the devil eye and the front turn signal as only 1 way orange. Those are the reasons it's a bit different from any other pics you may see on our website from either the VT headlights (9035) or the Non turbo headlights (78870).
