Has anyone had any luck with replacing their stock headlights with brighter higher temp more blue looking halogen bulb? (not an HID conversion)

If so, how does it look? Also do all turbos have projection lamps?

I'm waiting on the delivery of the Diamond Blue 55w H11b bulbs from autolumination, but it looks like USPS had some snafu and they weren't delivered to me yet.
They're likely not brighter, but the color might be better. They do sell 100w H11b bulbs if you're interested in brighter (though use at your own risk obviously)

I would completely advise against any H11b that is not an OEM replacement bulb. I just spent the last 2 hours pulling the bumper & headlights off (seriously, could there be less room to change the bulbs?), swapping in Autolumination Diamond Blue H11b bulbs, driving for what will likely be 20 of the scariest minutes of my life because there was so little light coming out of these bulbs, then coming home and doing it all in reverse to put the original bulbs back in. Take a look at the comparison photo - it's as color corrected as I could get given the lighting in my garage, but notice that you can see a lot more of the projector on the left side than the right; this is because the AL bulb is a good 50% dimmer than the OEM. Don't waste your time. I'm ok with losing $20 on this since I got the experience of taking off the bumper & headlights a couple of times, but I'll definitely be investing in HIDs if I want to change the color of my lights at this point.
