There she is!!!

Made my introductions in the veloster.org forum not knowing there was a place for my kind here.

Blessed be to all of you. Purchased my baby last month and I couldn't be happier. I type this out to you all from Gurnee, Il.

Welcome! Very nice looking. I think black is so nice - but ONLY when it's clean. Sadly here in Alberta save for June and July it's very dry and dusty. And the winters are even less fun. I had a black car and the heartbreak of having it just perfect, then covered in a light coat of dust less than half a day later was just too much. I hope it works out better for you!

I would have loved the Vitamin C, Marathon Blue or Boston Red in that order, but my lease was up on my old car and I had 1 week left before I was walking and it would have been a minimum of 3 weeks and possibly up to 6 before they got others. So they had exactly 1 VT with the options that I wanted and it happened to be in Light Grey Pearl. Now at first I was not crazy about it. However it hides the dust very very well and after a week I am really taking a liking to it. With the windows tinted out to match the black pillars it looks really sharp. When I get those black rims it's going to be an even better effect, so in the end while orange would have been killer, I'm now in love with the grey.

Enjoy and welcome again.

Cheers,
Chris

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome and kind words. After reviewing some of the other V's out there, I was self conscious of the black. "Why does mine look so plain?! WHY?!" I soon got over it and decided to black it all out. Black brake calipers, window tint, and soon I'm blacking out the headlights and taillights. She'll eventually live up fully to her name. :cool2:
