Hi everyone!

I made a post over on veloster.org, and have been reading and researching here for the last few months as well. I finally decided it was time to do a formal
introduction here since I received my car today.

I first test-drove the VT on a trip to Canada and instantly fell in love with it, after returning back home I started searching on my own trying to find the
exact car I wanted, but was having a real hard time doing so, it seemed there were almost no matte grey's in my area, and absolutely no ultimates to be
had.

So I contacted my local dealership and told them the spec's I wanted... Matte grey, manual, Ultimate.. the only thing I left open really was interior options.
They called me back 4 days later saying they located my car, and it would take 3 weeks to get here... Well, Today was the day and here she is.

I haven't even washed and sealed it yet, that will be done first thing in the morning, and have a 11am appt for window tinting... so i'll laod some after pics once
the tent is done.

Welcome to the forums Tez. Fellow Okie here, although I still have yet to pull the trigger on getting the VT. I know what you mean about no ultimates or Matte finish. I'm having trouble just finding manual transmission VTs in this state.

Do u know if they located the matte from a dealer close by? It's been very hard for me to find the options I want. I local dealership refuses to look for the VT I want. I wanna say that it maybe that they have several VT on there lot, although none of them have the options I am looking for. A quick question, did u get it at MSRP, if u don't mind me asking. Thanks!! Oh and congrats on ur buy!!!!!

Thanks guys! They told me that it just came off the ship from the factory, so right place/right time for me. I do know as of 2 weeks ago Texoma Hyundai had a Matte Grey, Base, Auto on their lot. The total for mine out the door was 25,520, with a 500 dollar military discount. If they cant find the one you want or refuse to search because they want to sell you their stock, go to another dealership, you may have to wait... but it's worth it to get the car you want in my opinion.

Update:

Got almost 200 miles on it, just taking it easy and trying to break it in, Washed and sealed... and windows tinted yesterday... here's a couple updated pics. :cool2:
