I've done the HID for the low beam (55W) and the fog lights (35W) and was thinking of doing the high beams until I thought it through. If you could drive with high beams all the time, it would work okay, but think about it. When you use high beams, it is normally not for an extended period and they would take the same amount of time to warm up after the arc is struck as your low beams, so it would be the same amount of time before they are useable. I don't think it would be practical. I would suggest getting some Sylvania Silver Star Ultra bulbs for your high beams as an alternate.

I'm gonna second what 2t's said. Going with some brighter bulbs rather than the stockers and skip the hids for the high beams. After all, warmup time and the fact of how often I'd use them?!?
Yeah, not worth it to me.
