Does anyone know how to disconnect/stop MyHyundai.com from keeping track of our diagnostics and mileage? When I purchased the VT, I enrolled with BlueLink service promotion. After the promo, I called to cancel the service and a few months later I discovered that they kept track of my mileage. I called Customer Service again and they stated they forgot to discontinue the service. That was earlier this year. Last night, I checked MyHyundai.com and the mileage was up to date with what I currently have. They are not charging me the monthly fee but at the same time, I don't like the fact that the "Hyundai gods" are keeping track of my car and what I do with it. How does the forum members feel about this? I want it disconnected!!

It doesn't bother me. If it was the gubberment or something then another issue altogether. Unless they are in the bed together or something lol.

Haha they must see me cancel the engine check for the cat everytime i start my car then! Lol

I doubt you can accomplish stopping that interaction very easily, and without investing

a lot of time and money, while still maintaining all the other functions that

you like so much.

Probably selling the car is the only sure way....

When I had a Sonic I had an ultrgauge that was always connected to the OBD II port. Chevy can't send vehicle diagnostics if something's is connected. Not sure if Hyundai would be the same

I canceled on star after the free period. Would have done the same with Hyundai

Disconnect the satellite antenna. Remove for some weight loss. Done.

Been wanting to do this for over a year now.

Module is behind glove box. Just unplug.

I checked on MyHyundai.com yesterday just because of this thread. They haven't tracked anything since I cancelled in August. I made sure to tell them I didn't want to continue any of the services. They said "these services are still free. Would you like to keep those?" I told them no thank you and to discontinue all services.
