New additions

Saturday night I checked the mail and what showed up? rigid collars and an envelope from the mailperson saying I owed $0.87. that was weird, but whatever. by the time I got the mail it was too late to install, so today I bought a breaker bar and torque wrench and a 19mm deep socket.(for some reason the 2 socket sets I have don't have one) pics of them installed.

they look good in orange. the last pic is of the rear tire after putting one jack stand under the front tire. it lifted the rear tire off the ground.
next week hopefully Peirce's rear torsion bar will arrive.

Ahh man, brings back memories. I loved my CB7. It carried me all through high school and then some. Are you a member on cb7tuner?

ya I love mine. it was my first car. unfortunately its rotting at my mothers house because I don't have the space or money to take care of it. I am a member of cb7tuner, but I haven't been on it in a while. after I do a few more things to my vt I hope to get the engine out of my cb7 and eventually turbo it.

Much love bro! I still roll my CB7 as my Daily right now. It is my down payment for my VT when I get around to it LOL it is so funny I see people from there coming here. That is great! I haven't seen anyone from here from CB7Tuner.org. Though, I haven't been on there for years now. we use to go on local dfw meets here and there years back.

got the rear windows retinted today to limo tint and I am now rocking turboshocks new sticker. now she needs a good washing.

Not to derail your build thread, but this is for the cb7 guys. There was a user on cb7tuner that went by the UN aww_shiet and he had the sickest cb7 I've ever seen!

I just wanted to take a walk down memory lane! Let's return back to the build thread now!

I like that one but MEH not the sickest.

You can buy a CB7 for cheap as hell and drop about 5k into it and have it super clean. BTW when I mean cheap I mean like 1k lol

I did remove the turbo badge. where I live I had the first vt, but not the first Veloster so I took it off to confuse people.
all the dirt is there because for work I have to park in the dirt when I am covering vacation. next week I am back in the office so she is getting a good spit shine inside and out. minus the real spit.
I wish I could get the headlights from that cb7 on mine they are awesome. the great thing of the cb7 is it has a basic prelude engine in it, I would like to push 300 hp to the wheels of mine.

just installed the pierce rear torsion bar. i couldn't get it in with the springs in so i took them out, but i couldn't find torque specs for the bolts that hold the springs in. if anyone knows this please tell me i just torqued them to 120 ft lbs. here is the finished install pic.

took it for a drive and the rear felt so planted that i created under steer entering the freeway, it was great.

Understeer? I was always under the impression that a rear bar would decrease understeer/ increase oversteer. Increasing understeer is definitely not something I would want in a FWD car.
