There is a Annual Hyundai Charity Meet @ Whitby on September 16, 2012 from 11AM to 4PM. So far, the majority cars are GenCoupe. From what I heard from last year - it was enormously popular along with amazing raffle tickets ~ you will recall that we had awesome raffle prizes (fast rims voucher, $500 gift cards to Ontario Hyundai, gas cards, gps, toy cars, etc), a dj, BBQ and some trophies. Someone will be meeting with the dealership owner to have him match what we raise dollar for dollar like he did last year ~they presented the Children's Wish Foundation with $5,200 ~ AMAZING !)

I for one plan to for this meet for two purposes - meet other car modders, and secondly, meet with Veloster owners and discuss of having a regular frequency meet.
I am prepared to take some responsibility in planning and organizing, and would appreciate in having 1 or 2 more to assist me like a committee.

Location: Ontario Hyundai 1505 Dundas St E Whitby, Ont
Date: Sunday, September 16th 11am-4pm

This year, we have chosen the Oshawa Hospital Foundation Drive 4 Dollars Program for our donation. Lakeridge Health Oshawa needs a new CT Scanner so that they can expand to perform Cardiac exams and make faster assessments for Cancer Centre patients and we are going to help! We will be having a DJ, a BBQ and a raffle to raise money. All proceeds from the BBQ and the raffle will be donated.

Greg Mason, the owner of Ontario Hyundai will again match dollar for dollar whatever we raise so hopefully we will have a big donation again this year!

BTW - Thickson Rd is under construction and will be a nightmare to get through and then turn left with so many cars as some people remember last year. Make sure to exit at Brock St in Whitby (not Brock Rd in Pickering) and head north. Turn right (east) on hwy 2(kingston rd) and then its a nice right turn into the dealership.​
