All I can gather from the youtube comments is that this was some kind of promo event put on by hyundai with company provided "slighty modified" vehicles. I want that exact setup. Sound, wheels & colors. :furious:

This was at the Vturbo 'launch' event.

that silver modded one was probably one of the higher ups at Hyundai for marketing purposes and they modified it to show enthusiasts what they could do.

I wish there were some details on the exhaust, it sounds great.

Doubt it was any 'official' preview for anything.

I just sent an email to a rep at corporate hyundai who is helping me switch out my VT to see if they can maybe find someone who can shed light on that exhaust.

I'll bet you a dollar that the silver one has the same exhaust and they just reprogrammed the VVT on the exhaust valves to open sooner.

I firmly believe that the issue is not with the exhaust but with the exhaust valve timing.

I would be surprised if it is the stock exhaust. I would think, that if what you say is true, I should be able to hear something on mine at WOT; but sadly, as we all know, there is nothing to be heard. I'm still betting that is a modded exhaust.

I removed something from the filter box, and it made my exhaust a little louder. I get a mild rumble when I rev it up.

Yeah not so much. Here's her reply:

"I was told that the exhaust was custom and done as a favor of a friend of a friend of someone that works here…I know, not helpful. Sorry."

Getting the feeling she doesnt want to divulge too much.
