I believe on Hyundai's website when you build and price a car, that is an upgrade option on the regular Veloster, but when you do the same for the Turbo its not an option. It makes me believe the VT's already have that 'upgraded' exhaust kit.
Don't think so Mike....The stock looks way bigger...Performance is in Stainless Steel also....They state also that sound level is more aggressive....
just looking for feedback on who installed this and what they think...Thinking of ordering....
I could be wrong, but upon search of that Part # I cannot find anything that exists for it either. Only thing is like I said under the build section online. Theres no real performance upgrades for the VT other then strut bar, and the Veloster you can add exhaust etc.. Just leads me to assume, but there is no part # included on it so I can be wrong.

How about a link to where you are thinking of ordering from?
2-6 months and it will be available in the US, my best guess. I just wonder why Hyundai is testing out Canadian market first.
Order today ...have by Thursday....might just have to try this.....just didn't want to be the first...
Best price i got was $530.00 + tax.....
Not available in US....wonder why..
interesting... id assume they would make this a pretty mild exhaust upgrade. dont believe hyundai would go wild with the exhaust note. might be exactly what im looking for. in for review/results!
I have been waiting to hear a review of this myself. Make sure review and post pics onec it is installed.

and lets not forget the video/sound clips!
You can do an aftermarket cat back for the same price. Waste of time and money in my opinion.

Although I think I have settled on the Borla, who has a cat back for $530+tax? I can still change my mind. :)

Not really. Usually oem type perf exhaust are very mild which is a good option. For people looking for a mild upgrade it's a good option. Also it's pretty competitively priced. And then there are those that are worried about warranty, which is never seen voided due to an exhaust. But regardless u know they can't void warranty for an exhaust they released for the car.
I no exhaust is sometimes subjective...I don't want any hum/noise in cabin...Want the noise/sound
to stay outside...just saying...I'll keep in touch with this...
Hyundai has many performance parts available as accessories for their cars. The Genesis has a bunch of suspension parts (Eibach), intakes (AEM) and an exhausts (AEM). Id suspect that parts for the Velo will start too. I think one of the guys who works for Hyundai Canada in their Accessories Dept is a member on here, so he might be able to answer more questions.

Ive seen the exhaust at my dealership and it looks like a decent quality kit. Full polished stainless, but it didnt look any bigger in diameter. Its only the axel-back muffler section and not a full catback. For that, I think the price is a bit steep. But, it will probably sound decent and be warrantied if theres any problems with it.
I want those Hyundai Performance Parts all weather premium floor mats to be available in the US like it is in Canada. Oh, and not cost like 300 for the front/rear set.
My only concern is HP. How many ponies will $600 get you and is it going to be worth it?
