Hello there!
I'm currently shopping for a 2013 Ultra Black Auto Turbo(no ultimate package). It stickers for around $24,500.
I've gone to two dealers(none in my city), traveled as far as 90 minutes to try to make a deal.
Here is what they offered: bottom dollar trade in no where near what my current car is worth. Easily $1000-$2000 off.
They won't budge on the price of the turbo except a $500 Hyundai incentive on it. They showed me there invoice & said they only make $900 on each veloster that they sell at MSRP.
I don't see how they can keep there doors open at $900 a Veloster......
I've owned several new cars & the only way I feel comfortable with purchasing the veloster is to have them come up on trade value & down on the price of the car.
So, I'm curious what some of you have paid compared to MSRP? I don't need to know what you paid or how much under MSRP?
I've never had this much difficulty trying to buy a new car from someone before.
I've owned 2008 Chevy, 2010 Kia, 2012 Ford, & I'm trying to get a 2013 VT.
The nearest dealer(40 minutes away) salesmen went on vacation & I know he'll call me back on a follow up.
Sorry for the huge first post but I've never seen two different dealers struggle to make a deal for me on financing a brand new $24,000 vehicle..... It's like they don't want the sale.
