The original question seems to infer that IF with ownership you've been disappointed by your VT, and you knew that in advance -THEN would you have bought it anyway.
Granted, some have had problems or perhaps not satisfied with the performance or economy but fortunately I'm not among those. 15,000 miles this week, NO problems, 29.3mpg avg, fully satisfied with the hp and handling (actually I'm a conservative driver and have never even come close to the VT's potential), amazingly comfortable seats, head-turning looks -including me still...so yes, I'd do it again and I'm sure glad I got mine last September before they became so in-demand and hard to find.
Me so happy.

Only vehicle I've owned recently that I would consider buying over my VT was my 09 Wrangler, but that would be apples and oranges, not peas and carrots.

Just thought i would throw the question out there to everybody.

Because i am not 100% happy with mine due to the surging issue , throttle response, bad dealer.
I am hoping to get my hands on a replacement tuned ecu when they are available to hopefully rectify these issues.
I dont believe you should have to adjust / disconnect things in a brand new car to get it to drive well.

However saying all that... I would 100% buy the car again because as mentioned before by another member. The looks, handling, toys, scope for better performance etc are excellent.

I honestly wish I had gotten the R-spec 2.0T Gen Coupe MT, I regret getting an auto in my VT just about everyday. I got mine last August when they were hard to come by and it was the only Elite White around.
