i've looked into this but there is no clean way to wire it without wire clearly showing so i gave up, however i am interested in finding a way to illuminate my grill to match the blue illumination inside my V :) If you have any suggestions go for it haha i am currently looking at the waterproof strips that DIODE DYNAMICS is offering, they are like $80 for the longest multicolored strip and controller! not to shabby. My whole paycheck goes into this car already tho haha

I read somewhere some state laws are really anal when it comes to having illuminated exterior logos/emblems or any other type of custom lights, besides the front and rear lights. Here in Central FL for example, not so much the city pd but the highway pd will pull u over for whatever reason they feel like it :/

I thought so too but 2/3 cops I talked to said they only pull people over if they need to make the end of the month. So if they are desperate.. Haha I wouldn't worry about it if it isint obnoxiously.bright lol ;)

I've been looking for a turbo emblem that will light up for the longest time. I just want a simple turbo emblem that is clear with LED's that way I can wire it to a switch that connects to the vacuum line on the turbo, that way when it hits a specified boost amount the emblem would illuminate. Can't remember what the switch its but it converts vacuum pressure to an electrical signal and is adjustable.

I might just have to come up with something to match that...

"crspyvt"

Any one have an Idea what the sensor is called that converts vacuum pressure to a 12v signal? I'd just "T" the vacuum line for a boost gauge to the LED lights.

piezoelectric sensors produce a voltage when pressure is applied to them... Im sure someone could make it work. I wonder if there are piezoelectric resistors...

It would be cool if the emblem faded in and out. like at vacuum, its dark and the emblem gets brighter as the boost builds.

Yeah that was what I was thinking, have it set at say 16psi and when it reaches that amount the LED's turn on. I think I need to get a vacuum transducer.
