I have a blue one on mine. I love the sound when it hits that sweet spot rpm.

I just Purchased an Injen Short Ram Intake for my VT off AutoAnything and I got a 14% discount on purchase plus another 15% discount using Promo Code: WELCOME15 and they also included a free Injen Hydro Shield as a gift. I can't wait to install. It seems quite easy. Just curious if it does come with instructions, just in case LOL.

yes it does come with instructions and it is quite easy. You'll have to take the bumper off to get access to the rest of the stock intake to get it out. Even that itself is quick and easy. Took about 30-45 minutes to do everything

I personally wanted to remove the entire intake.
Sounds fair enough

Not sure if it would fit with it left in i didnt even try to fit it.
I'm pretty sure it will fit with removal of the air cleaner assembly. Personally, I would test fit before I bothered to take the bumper off of the car. But, I can understand wanting to remove the entire intake tract as well.

It would fit, but taking it out looks cleaner and will let more cold air into the bay. I for one wouldn't mind a modified hood with a scoop on the corner and an air box in the bay like most sports cars have. Then you wouldn't need a...it would be more ram air style.
