Updates Below

Installed a mechanical boost gauge to my drivers side A pillar.

The gauge cup I used just so happened to have a curved mounting plate that matched the curvature of our A pillar's edge.

Let me know what you think.

Update 24/06/13

So this weekend I finished up with the boost gauge.

The gauge is hooked up and wired up. It works great and looks awesome mounted on the A-pillar.
I'll try to get some night time photos of it lit up but for now I've uploaded a short video of it in action.

Heres a photo of it lit up.

How do I get this?

EDIT: It's not even shown as partially a pre-junctioned option on the service site...must be a completely different controller. I wonder if we can just buy the new controller assembly and would work?? Maybe the 2014s will have this?

Yeah, it's a completely different controller:

So is the gas pedal on the left or right side?

You don't. Lol
I noticed. I edited my post though, shows the whole auto climate controller. If we can get a part number (the service site is for U.S. models only), we could probably see if it will work.

I wouldn't buy a car without climate control so that's one of the reasons the Veloster made it to my short list. We get the turbo in one spec with obviously folding mirrors, climate control, sunroof, electric adjustable drivers seat, daylight running lights, automatic headlights, halo marker lights. Accelerator pedal is on the right so when swapping to driving in Europe all we need to adapt to is a right-hand gearchange which is surprisingly easy to do. We have had quite a few tourists end up on the wrong side of the road with fatal consequences, and this is regarded as a serious offence and generally leads to a conviction for manslaughter.

I like the boost gauge.

We need an ap that can display boost and oil pressure via the head unit would be great.
The future of Hyundai holds Android OS...maybe then we can just run Torque directly on the head unit after a custom ROM upgrade. Would be an interesting upgrade though. Not sure how difficult it would be.
