Installed my billet pro shop short shifter along with my shifter bushings yesterday. Took me around 5 hours because I couldn't figure everything out right away. It feels great and shifts perfectly into each gear.

I have three pics showing it in neutral, first and reverse.

Wow. I can't imagine the throw needing to be any shorter than it is now! Granted I'm used to my truck with a 18" long shifter and a 12" throw.

Took me some time to figure out because I felt like they skipped some steps in their instructions. Overall, it was pretty straight forward.

You need combine that shifter with TWM Shifter bushing kit. TWM Performance Hyundai Veloster Turbo 2011+ Bushing Kits

Is sport mode the same? no..
but can I put it back into Lazy American mode if I want? yes :smile:

The billet ball on this looks out of place in our interior IMHO. The shape of the knob on this one wrapped in leather would be ideal.

btw did you get the bushings from the same company you got the shifter kit from or were they from twm?

Looks good. SFR has a pretty in-depth DIY install video for their SS. Might make it easier for those buying this shifter.

I also believe there are different knobs and different finishes available too.

You have to be careful when ordering this. TWM only has one posted right now but there are two possible shifter link bushing sets for the VT. They had to tweak a set for me because I have the newer end links. They may ask you to confirm build date of the car.
