l noticed today a stuttering sound from the intake. Normally l have music on and don't hear much of the intake during my drive but today l did not have music on and got the stutter sound during
WOT and accelleration was not as expected. l am going to check the intake tomorrow but wondered if anyone has experienced this.

at operating temp, 3rd gear and at WOT on a highway onramp. 80 degrees out. lnjen CAI that has been in for more than a month.

I have an idea but need the extra info to rule out the obvious

Once or twice I've had her just bog during driving. It's a sickening feeling. She came back without any issues, or additional mechanical intervention.

Let us know how she drives today.

Wow with stock set up, I haven't had her bog under wot unless she want warmed up or suffering major heat soak.

l have noticed the heat soak issue with both stock intake and the CAI. this is the first l have heard this stutter from the intake. l retightened 4 of the 5 hose clamps. l will see how it drives later and post further comments.

the hose clamps seemed to be a bit loose when l checked the intake. l Ioosened them then tightened them again and the problem has not occurred again. l guess l will have to get some better clamps..

I like work clamps but that's just preference.

Any chance it was the traction control? I have had it kick on in the middle of 3rd gear before.

It wasn't traction control, that was off. l would guess that the cause was an intake leak. Just glad I didn't have to put the stock intake back in to further troubleshoot.
