so this is finally completed.

the old intermediate shaft had a bunch of movement in it however the wheel bearing is a completely different beast. so tight now.

going to do the other side next month.

great news! The car survived the AX this past weekend.

less great news. Car still sounds like it is growling on that side, however exhibits zero driveability issues, lol i did find a spot where it is rubbing into the frame on the opposite side. i added camber (-1.4 degrees) last week it shouldn't make a huge difference. i am going to do another bolt check on that corner and just let it be...

1 month later.... 2 more AX and a track day. still making the noise. cleaned up the frame stuff, that isn't it.

i wonder if i am having a diff carrier bearing failure. someone mentioned to me it could be the timing chain side motor mount. i'm going to investigate this weekend possibly. only one more event this season.

Yah so the mount was roast. What I thought was boiled coolant was actually mount fluid. It jiggles like an ice cube in a Glass of water! Hoping for the best here.
