Hey guys, I was wondering if you guys could help me solve the problem that I've been having after doing a turbocharger and WG replacement on a 2016 Veloster. I have already done the following.

Replace the coil packs all four. I replace the spark plugs with new OEM plugs. I use 93 octane fuel only. I have also ran one bottle of techron on a full tank. I also checked all my wiring and components. I haven't been able to do a compression test yet, but I do have the tools for it. It seems to be cylinder one more than the others.

The misfiring is only at low RPM around 2000-2200 and is intermittent, but the misfire seems to disappear if I accelerate more. I haven't noticed any colored smoke coming out of the engine.

Post the coils and plugs part numbers you installed. Post the plug gaps.

What turbo did you install?
What WG and/or WGA did you install?
What tune is in the car?
What other mods on the car?
How are you determine the misfires?
What do the misfires per cylinder look like?
Codes?
Freeze frame data?
Datalog?

@trdtoy

It's the upgraded manifold with the v-band that KDM tuners sells and turbo.

NGK laser iridium OEM plugs

HKS Bov.

OEM coils direct from Hyundai

High Flow downpipe.

845 Motorsports intercooler assembly

Mac valve Bov solenoid and Mac WG solenoid

Tial 44mm MV-R wastegate. (8psi spring)

No Tuning. Stock Boost Levels

I'll try to take videos and screenshots of torque app stuff.

So you installed a big turbo kit, on oem plugs, and oem tune?

Need the other information for sure and possibly datalog but if the above is true you need tune for the mods 100%.

@trdtoy I am waiting for my flash tools to come I have a tune file from SXTH. I assumed the NGKs would be ok. I'll order the HKS ones then.

Yes you need to have the HKS M45XL plugs in there with .024" gaps and tune for the mods. A baseline tune for the mods minimum and datalog the car to problem solve it to see what is going on before pushing it.

I feel like there's a problem with one of my fuel pumps though. I was looking at my idle pressure and it was weird like 24 psi

@trdtoy

The BPV code is constant. I know what the cause is.

The cat code only showed up once. My cat is about a year old. It's a high flow from Pierce.

Need to pull all plugs, check gaps, check all plugs, etc. Something is causing only cylinder 1 misfire.
