This issue may have come up in other posts but I didn't find the answers I needed. I purchased an R-spec and realized that it didn't have a jack in the trunk. Its odd, but, I didn't mind since I have a floor jack. I have jack stands and I know where to put them, but the main problem I am having is finding the right spot to lift the car with the jack. I consulted the manual, which showed me pictures of non turbo veloster, and is showed that you should jack it up on the side either behind the front tire or in front of the back tire. This makes sense until I look underneath and only see molding for the ground effects kit that comes installed. My other concern is lifting the car on each side individually; since there doesn't seem to be a place to lift the front of the car with a jack and place the jack stands where they need to go. I would hate to tweak the frame or suspension trying to installing mods or changing the oil.

Should it be lifted where the molding is as pictured in the manual?

Anyone know of a spot that would allow the front to be jacked up to place both jack stands at the same time?

At this point I may have to buy/borrow another floor jack and use the jack points on the sides at the same time to keep it level. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Never heard of messing the unibody up by jacking the vehicle up on the sides. Hell I jack mine up far enough from the front side it lifts rear wheel too
