Do i need to get the h11 bulb holder such as the one demonstrated in the video for the NAV install?

do i need to drill holes as well?

Yes you need to drill holes. No you dont need the holders those are for the non turbo headlights because they have h7 bulbs hi and lo.

i know that ...but its almost as if theres an extra plug on the lamps themselves... that's what confuses me.

the relay should have 2 plugs for the ballasts (one on each side). in addition, you'll have two pins that get plugged into one headlamp assembly where your stock bulb would normally go. (you only need to do this on ONE side) the other end plugs into your relay. I think this is the "extra plug" your referring to? then positive and negative get connected to the battery. hopefully it all works out for you
