Put one in on Tue. night. A lot thinner than the stock one.
Yes, below is the line item from my order confirmation from K&N:K&N 33-2472 Drop In Filter is that the actual model/part number which fits our VT?
Hmm.. didnt take out any baffle. Im gonna go back in and check to see what you are talking aboutthey breath far better too
when i was doing mine , there was some sort of sound baffel in the box, that came out very easy, im sure that helped the air flow a bit as well

Did it come from the top part and did it look kind of like an elbow inlet with holes? If so...I found it and took mine out too.if i hadnt thrown it out i couldtake a pic
it was about 2 1/2 inchs cubed and just slid out of place , some sort of noise baffel

if you are concerned, just keep the stock one and swap back at turn in. i know it is not an issue with Honda.Would replacing the stock air filter on a lease be an issue? I had the k&n filter on my previous car that I owned.
