Less restrictive than the stock filter. There are claims that acceleration is better with this air filter. I think it is. I put one in every car I buy. If you want to improve air intake without installing a CAI or an SRI, I think this is the way to go.

Put one in on Tue. night. A lot thinner than the stock one.

they breath far better too

when i was doing mine , there was some sort of sound baffel in the box, that came out very easy, im sure that helped the air flow a bit as well

Did it come from the top part and did it look kind of like an elbow inlet with holes? If so...I found it and took mine out too.

Ordered mine. Trying to be good since there is still so much warranty left. I usually put one of these in all my cars. Think at 2k and a 1st oil change, i might take her into a dyno session to see where she started life. -R

Just picked up my Vitamin C 6 speed on Thursday. Love it so far. Sold my 1990 Accord to a nice young guy and it still had the K & N in it that had been in there for 300,000 miles. I always liked being able to clean and re-oil on a regular basis. Not sure of performance but after almost 23 years my K & N still looked like new and worked great. There will be one in my VT fairly soon.

I noticed while looking for the baffle that the air inlet for the bottom of the air box has a magnetic flap over the opening. Does anyone know what makes that flap open to allow air into the box because the magnets seem to be pretty strong?
