I added Koni adjustable strut dampers to my Eibach Pro Kit springs and Luxon front strut tower brace and I'm one happy camper. Car sits low, has no clearance issues over driveways and speed bumps (no angle approach necessary) and these struts have made the bumps feel like its a factory BMW M set up. I had them installed and set to the firmest and the ride is actually smoother feeling than the stock struts were with this set up. Very happy! Coil overs may be similarly priced but I like the lifetime warranty of these reputable struts! Handling in roundabouts is slot car like and going over train tracks very bearable.

awesome! I will definitely have to look into these as I have the NGM springs but could use a lot better dampening :p

You have any more shots of the drop? It might be the angle and shadowing, but that looks pretty low for eibach. I like it.

Eibach + Koni = great combo for just about any car. They should just team together and make some coilovers.

The Baker - I need to take more pics, but it IS wickedly low. I had them (springs) installed and when I went to pick the car up I was very concerned but amazingly no issues. It's the Eibach Pro Kit, not the Sport.

Where did you get them and how much? Are the fronts inserts or replacement units?

I used to run Koni's on all of my old Hondas and they were great. Full warranty and rebuildable too.

Some Konis have adjustable spring perches, so you can adjust the ride height +/-1" or so.

You are adjusting rebound rather than stiffness and should find a good rate based on your springs and other suspension components. For a FWD car I usually start at 1/2 turn from full still on the rear and 3/4 a turn from full soft on the front. Softening the fronts can help control understeer depending on your sway bar setup.

Looks great!

I just ordered the Yellow's w/ Eibach Pro-Kit as well! Also waiting on the Whitelines, front & rear to make complete drop.

I wonder if I will get rubbing, since I upgraded my stock wheels/tires to 18x8" ET40 w/ 225/40/18, whereas your ride is using stock rim/tires?

The fronts are inserts and the rear may be tough to adjust. Since I didn't do the install (local Les Schwab - awesome company), I don't know exactly how the rear are adjusted but they said they'd put it on the rack and turn and adjust them for me. They set them midway and drive it and then he decided to adjust full firmness and I love it! I'm curious to know what it's be like a little softer, but only to report it and I think it'd be a little bouncy like it was with stock struts except maybe not as many bounces. If that makes sense.

1V4N - I think with that offset you'll be fine. I had a +45 18" put on my car and it sat perfect, though I didn't drive on it. They did it for me to get an idea since I couldn't justify dropping $ on struts, wheels and tires right now. These are TSW Nurburgring forged 18"

Thanks for the info! Hopefully I can get the same look you have going with that combination of springs & Koni's. :)
