Hey Guys and Girls!!! This won't be a very long thread as to I just started messing with mods since i Got my VT. This is my first car, I grew up in Brooklyn NY, then moved to Pennsylvania for high school in college. Never had a car cause of money, i did drive my parents car here and there to hang out but never had my own. Well Now I'm in the Military and stationed in San Antonio, Texas. Huge Diff from Ny haha but not complaining. I don't know how much i will be doing to my car due to money and still need to read up on a lot of things. Everything I willl do or end up doing will be my first time doing so wish me luck!!

First Day I Got My Baby :)

The first thing I did was the DIY ~ BPV-BOV I first put a breather on it but decided to take it out cause i like it better with it off!

Next Was the window tints, I had to look up the law in San Antonio cause I'm new to here and where I lived before i could have them dark as I want and apparently thats not the case here :( So I had to go with 35% in the front but I did 30% :p theres a bigger prob if a cop is looking that hard haha and i went 5% in the rear.

sorry if any of the pics come out crappy :( Im only using my iPhone Cam

congrats on your car and nice color! i used to live in san antonio once. i moved to maryland. one thing i liked about texas was the long stretched roads and FOOD. idk about NY but maryland food culture isn't as big as texas. anyways, enjoy your stay and thank you for your service.

Later that night I found out that there is a drag strip not to far that had an event and it was ten bucks to get in and race if you wanted to!!! Just remember that only drove stick for about two months before this and I'm new to the car world so i just wanted to go to watch thought it would be fun and it was! I brought a friend that thought it would be cool to, he just got a car not to long ago, its an Subi Wrx 05 i believe. I know its turbo sure know it has a few things on it like an intake but not sure what else. He ended up convincing me to try it and I did. Terrible time but it was my first time ever on a strip so give me a break ;p

Just Click

Time Slip- Not from the vid about! I can't find that slip but his car ran 13.5-13.8 can't remember which one but it was one of those two. This Slip is my last run against some mustang. I think 01 isn and had an exhaust I'm sure and some other things not sure though

So after the Tints I didn't know what else to do. It was right before the holidays and didn't want to drop any money yet, can't be greedy haha. So i started to read around on the forums and bumped into the upper clutch switch mod. I did some reading and I saw some people said they made a switch and other just made something by the clutch so its not a switch. Well i got with my friend with the Subi and he's good at wiring and I told him about it. He said sounds like it could be possible. I looked up on it a little more and decided that i like how it is when disconnected but didn't want to have to reach on the bottom every time. So after a few hours we ended up completing the project and the switch works fine!!!

Great start on your mods! Keith and I are trying to get some rigid collars from TS this month. I plan on doing an instructional video on it. Keep us updated on your stuff bro.

So after reading one forums for a little while Ive been reading about plasti Dip and thought hey why not give it a try and if i don't like it peel it off! So i went looking around and it seems that stores only sell black and white and if I want any other color i would have to go online and order but prob is I don't know what color i want. So the last store i checked was Home Depot and they Had Red as well!. So i deciding to give it a shot on my Engine cover since its under the hood and nobody will see it if it comes out bad:p

i didn't think it came out too bad so then i got black and decided to try dipping my rims here is what it looked like!

and here is a pic of how easy it can peel off!

my phone died after and i had taken a friend take a pic and boy does it look crappy but here it is lol

the next mooring i decided to take a pic and here it is.
