I own a 2013 Veloster Turbo. I bought it used 2 years ago. The previous owner kept up with all scheduled maintenance. I have had oil changed, new tires and new crank shaft sensor installed. Drove to work this am, seemed to be running fine. Started car after work, heard loud whirring noise when pressing gas pedal. Seemed to go away, but as I accelerated and shifted to higher gear, the noise became louder. The noise became more constant and I could not go any faster than 60mph then down to 25mph. Barely made it up slight incline of driveway. No warning lights on dash or warning sounds. Please, any advice? I know very little about my car and have no idea what to do.
Thank you! Deborah

Check codes.

Sounds like possibly boost leak somewhere or issue with the turbo.

Miles? Oil filter? Oil change interval? Oil used for changes?

Sounds like a coil pack issue or spark plug issue. There usually is an increase in noise when you have a misfire. It won't always trip a sensor but can cause other things to not work properly, or put the car in limp mode.
