Hello all,

My question:
Can I use a 225/40R18 tire on the front wheels and keep the 225/45R18 on the rears? Will this mess up anything with the wheel sensors since the front wheels would be going at different speeds? (Obviously this is a cost saving measure due to trying the fitment below and failing)

I decided to try the following setup but the fronts definitely rub:
  • Stock Wheel
  • 225/45R18 Tire
I wanted the extra sidewall to soak up the bumps and occasional pothole here in the Northeast but under high steering angle, there is some rubbing.

It’ll be fine. But look a little silly.

I'm ok with the silly fitment. My alternative would be to get four 225/40r18's. I'm not sure how I can sell off the tires I currently have if I went that route.
