so I recently picked up a 2015 veloster turbo, and my father noticed a weird smell, and the ac wouldnt stay cold so today i peaked into the fusebox and found the terminal has melted the cover (explains weird smell) i have no idea where to start troubleshooting. Is just one of the relays or fuses bad?

Update: c/fan and a/con fuses were both melted, still no diagnosis of whats wrong because both the fuses are intact

Heat is usually from a loose connection or a bad ground.

For the melted spot remove the bolt and clean the surfaces and make sure it;s a tight connection. The bolt was probably just loose.

I would say that, but the bolt holding the multi fuse was super tight, i did clean the connector before putting it back on, but it has a service appointment at the dealership to confirm that its the radiator/condenser fan thats shot.

Hard to get off doesn't mean it was tight

In all seriousness, if you're not familiar with automotive electronics, just get a mechanic to fix it.
This was potentially minutes from a fire.
