just went out and looked at my MAP sensor and my IC sensor. The MAP number 39300-2G000. Is this the updated one?
My IC sensor is 39300-8400. Is this an updated sensor?
My car is a 16 VT
I work at Orielly Auto and 3 MAP sensors come up for my car. Do you think these are the updated ones??
I also noticed the part numbers are different between the 2016 and 2017 in the Standard brand.

Do not worry about the sensors unless you can verify a sensor issue which very few actually have. The next thing is only replace with OEM sensors for the best results.

Here's another one for you and if you look closely you'll see the actual thermistor exposed inside the shroud so you don't have all the heat soak issues as the factory unit.
Iat's will react quicker to the inflow of air compared to the solid shrouded stock unit.

I bought one of these for my Accent and noticed a vast improvement in the iat temperatures and how the iat reacts to throttle and air flow.
I also plan on getting the unit pictures for my turbo motor as well and only because of the faster reaction of the iat reading compared to the stock unit. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Welcome to the forum. FYI a 15 VT is regular auto with torque converter not a DCT.
