Any one know how to dim the media screen for night driving.
The gauge dimmer doesn't do it.

It's in the system setup menu on the stereo.

Just my opinion but even on night settings still to bright. My mygig in the srt8 went way lower in brightness. The mygig in all other ways a piece of crap compared to this unit.

I put some of the static cling window film on mine. I do a lot of night driving and the dimming on this unit just won't go as low as I like.

Would this be able to be changed in an update. Maybe if they get a large amount off complaints they would do it if possible.

Turning it down in settings barely makes a difference in mine

I took it out of auto mode and I set the brightness to its darkest settings. Its still plenty bright for daytime, but I wish it were able to go darker. I like the idea of a covering. Any touch screen issues with that in place?
