Metal in oil pan

My oil pan was leaking so I removed it to reseal. It was pretty clean on the inside except for one small piece of metal. It is not magnetic so I am assuming it must be aluminum. Does this look like part of a rolled pin, or some metal shaved off of another part? The car is a 2013 VT with 100,000 miles on it so it is hard to tell if this is new or been there for 10 years.
