Yes, this is the boost hack, and yes, it is very dangerous. Apparently a tune can be adjusted to account for it, but I have my reservations about that as well.

i run this intercooler on my forte and it performs very well. Only thing different is I am running 2.5" piping. Great work!!!

Its been over half a year since i received this universal intercooler from UK and finally i started custom fabrication + measurements to make it fit.
Living in Europe it was a huge investment for me to buy a FMIC kit from the vendors in USA (i know their products are very good - turbosocks, 845 motorsports, @ - X - (oric)) so i decided to buy a universal and make it fit.

I already had an unpainted pierce crash bar so I welded the points for the FMIC to be mounted and had to do some cutting on the grill - removed some plastics to make space for the intercooler.

This intercooler has threats on the under side and i had to flip it so they were on top to help me mount it. - So I use it upside down - and the M (logo) will not be shown in the front but it is not bothering me. The outlet is on the side (not like 845 fmic) so i could not center it with the car but managed to bring is as center as i could. At the moment i will test fitment, and by next week will have the crash bar painted and custom aluminium piping at a local shop.

here are some low sized pics and i will update as soon as i paint the crash bar and do the piping also. will post some better photos when i will have some
