Motor oil recommendations?

Has anyone other than me used the Lucas Sythetic Oil Stabilizer in their vehicles?
I used it in my 97 F-150 for 10 yrs., and sold it with 260k miles on it and never used a drop of oil, and never even had to go inside the inside to fix anything. so I know Lucas is good!
I am just curious if say a high grade Valvoline Syn-MAx oil w/ Lucas is just as good or better than the top of the line oils like Amsoil or Royal Purple?

I run Redline Performance 5w-30 Euro in my tuned Kona 1.6T AWD. ACEA C3 HTHS 3.7 (Ester based, not the gutless group 3 Professional series)

It has a very low NOACK of 6 and 1650 PPM of calcium which is low for LSPI and being a Group 5 oil. Also VERY low Ash .06 vs all Amsoil oils are 2.2 Ash, which is very high. Then there is the plus of being Ester based, it has polarity to metals, which I like for todays short piston skirts/dryer startups. Not a big deal, but just an added benefit. I dump at 3,500 miles.

WELL...........................Redline priced me out of the market on their oil, from $12.97 qt to $16.97 qt from inflation all in 10 months.

I am running Motul 5w-40 8100 X-Clean Gen 2 now.
