So I realized that I had not made a build thread, what is wrong with me?
You can see my old Infiniti M30 in the background. My grandmother gave me that car when she passed away. She always had a thing for convertibles, me not so much, but it did grow on me. After many things started to go bad and finding parts for a car that was only made for 3 years in the 90's was almost impossible. So I had started to look for new cars to replace her. Figured my grandmother would love to see me in something nice and new. After looking at a few card I had settled on the Veloster. I have a thing for hatchbacks, so this was an easy choice. I choose blue for a few reasons. First, its just a beautiful color and second because I was trading in my grandmothers car I figured I would get something that had a bit of sentimental value. My grandmother loved sailing and introduced me to it at a young age, I thought this color would help remind me of the ocean and how much I love being out on the water. Another reason why I chose the Veloster is because my grandmother hated most current cars body styling. She hated that the rear was higher than the front and it reminded her of a bird dog with their nose down. The Veloster doesn't look like that and I felt that she would love this car too.
Here she is on August 12th 2013 when I picked her up, all new and unmolested.

Engine mount bushings, Torsion bar, fog light film and some Plasti-dip
Tork pipe, Eibach Springs, muffler clearencing, cone filter
Dipped and painted wheels

Kinugawa blow-off valve and TurboSocks vacuum adapter
