I know this post is definitely a tad bit late but to all you vt owners like myself who are reading these threads thinking damn my car sucks.... DONT....
I had the same questions myself so I took her to the track for the first time. Mods= aem cai, ngk 1422s
car could have easily done a 14.8 and probably even a 14.6 had the stock tires and 13,000 hard miles on them
If I had more time on the strip could have def improved my 60ft as I was still bogging a bit off the line.
