Picture of my Matte Grey Veloster which I have had for 3 months now, didn't like the standard wheels at all so I changed them for a set of Genesis Volt in satin black size 8 x 18" thus using the original Hankook tyres.

I have also fitted the Veloster piano black rubbing strips as car park dings are a really pain which I could do without, bought them from Ebay for a reasonably good price of £100 and fitted them myself on a rare sunny day in the UK.

I have detailed my car by using Swissvax Opaque polish and wash it weekly with Swisvax Opaque Car Bath, which I know is expensive but it does make the car look nice.

I would like to fit the auto dimming rear view mirror and the LED footwell light kit but we don't have it in the UK and Hyundai have not responded to my email regarding the fitting of them to a UK car. I sure they will fit but I would like a little reasurance before I buy them and import them.

I have also had the glass tinted from the side windows back.

I have the PDF Hyundai instruction sheet for the footwell lights and it looks like it shouldn't be a problem but I can't find the mirror instructions, so if anybody has them could they email them to me. Land vehicle Vehicle Car Hyundai veloster Automotive design

Cheers with regard to the wheels they are of course down to the individual one mans bread is another ones butter.

The things that put me off the standard wheels are the plastic chrome trims and the fact that they are not handed so on one side the chrome trim is the leading edge and on the other it is the trailing edge, I guess it's a Korean thing

I....I....I have never even paid attention to, or thought of that fact, my life is a lie! and now I am not sure if I can keep my stock rims as originally planned. why did you say this good sir? why?!?!?! lol jk. I kinda like those rims, they would look really good with a drop too.

I guess it does I never really noticed but taking a look at Jeremy's pictures of his car I see what you mean, I've yet to see another one on the road in the UK to compare it with, so I will keep my eyes open.

With regard to the way the stock wheels look, I didn't really notice it until I was giving the stock wheels a good clean and then my engineering brain took over and I just couldn't live with the non symetrical look!

I would drop the car but the roads are so bad in the UK with potholes everywhere it would just thump the car to bits.

Love the clear corners, they did this to the old Datsuns as well. Europe got clear and us silly Americans got the amber lens's
