when I owned my evo, I spent a fair amount of time 1/4mile racing a guy with a srt4. drag tires made all the difference for him. he was running high11's with very little wheelspin.

This for sure. ^^^ biggest thing you can do at the track for fwd. high 13's w/ my caliber on street tires, 11.61 @ 125mph w/ slicks. launch control set at 5200 rpm, light turns green, dump the clutch, and take off like a rocket.
