Mystery Cable

Hi all and happy Easter.

feel like a bit of a "nuffy" asking this one, but curiosity has got the better of me, so here goes.

My VT came with a composite (audio L (white) & R (red) + video (yellow) to 3.5mm stereo jack.
I assume its to connect to some AV device to get video and audio to the head unit ??? Correct ???

If so ..... what portable devices have composite outputs these days. The only devices I have with composite outputs are my DVD/VCR player ... and these are hardly portable.

None of the Apple or Android stuff have composite outputs ... so what is the cable used for??

Enough sniggering at my ignorance .... be nice .... its Easter.

Thanks in advance

there is this software you can buy that will flash your radio to a different software and allow you to do stuff like watch videos or play video games while driving.
thank you axe. nobody cares about ps3vsxbox. aint nobody got time for that bs.

I don't know exactly what I would use that input for. though you can still play cool games on it for the passenger when on a long trip. I remember this controller I bought either at a flea market or a mall and it has a cable (yellow, white, red) and you can play a bunch of little games on it.

but other than that I have no clue what you'd use that input for. what's it for anyways?

this is what I was talking about. it's a controller like the Nintendo 64 and has a bunch of games on it like super Mario bros and tetris and a whole bunch of other old school games.
