I've had my 2014 VT for about a week, and just tried to use the nav system yesterday. It functions fine, but does not give verbal instructions, which means I need to keep looking at screen while driving. I've paged through all the menus, and I can't find a volume control of any kind. I've also fiddled with the vol knob, turned the AV off, pushed the map/voice button before, during and after operation, and even pushed and held button. I can't find the key! Any advice? Thanks.

try this. if you can't still figure it out, i have no idea. it's hard to troubleshoot without actually digging through your unit.

your volume control..... is your up and down steering wheel button. use it when the navigation has directions.

i was gonna suggest that too, but i think he mentioned that he tried that.

Here's how to do it. I made this video awhile back when someone else posted that they wanted to shut the sat/nav voice off.

While navigation is open
-press the arrow "->"
-press the speaker (volume) icon
-make sure sound is not muted or that it is not low.
