Hello All!

I recently went to a mechanic and got quoted $600 to do pads and rotors for my VT

I am now trying to find a good deal on a kit. One thing I have noticed is that some websites won't let me filter by the turbo spec.

Could you put normal Veloster rotors and pads on a Turbo?

any help would be nice

Have to run the proper setup for the given car.

crazy for OEM, but you should run a setup specifically for the VT.
I bought these about a year or 2 ago, and have zero issues/nice stopping power for the street:

I did buy seperately the $~40 cArBoN FiBer cerramic pads (Power Stop® - Z23 Evolution Sport Performance Carbon-Fiber Ceramic Compound Brake Pads), and I use those over the ones provided in the kit, because it has a noticeable bite over OEM, but you probably dont need that, and can save money with the ones in the kit. Imho, any plain rotor/pad kit you get will work, the drilled and slotted aren't worth the money if you don't track the car.

and even if you do track you don't need drilled and slotted.

You can grab the power stop kit at RockAuto.com $241.89 for front and back rotors, pads and hardware. I have them on my VT, and they have been great.
